This was a shame because it's my favourite MIDI controller, as I'm a rather ham-fisted keyboardist and the semi-weighted keys give a reassuring, deliberate clunk. Whilst it's pretty easy to get a convincing DX sound from a computer (pretty much any soft synth that claims to recreate "analog" will do) , I like a "real man" master keyboard that's built like a tank.

As a master keyboard at the moment I'm using a Yamaha SY85 sample-player, which feels like a DX7 to play. Unfortunately, the middle Eb is fuct, and attempts to fix it lost the internal memory. Apparently it lacks ROM patches, so you have to load presets back from a disk drive, which I have no disks for, and I think the drive is bust too :( It's not a hard machine to program, but I can't be assed.

I actually use Native Instrument's excellent FM8 plugin for DX7 sounds- no lo-fi DACs , nice arp and multitimbral.

Back to the DX7. Twiggy, BTW, hates the bloody thing and the last time I was in a live band with him demanded I hook it up to a midi module. I liked it, because it sounded almost classically crap. He , to be honest , rightly associates it with many a great popular musical crime.

Today I plucked up the courage to open it up with a view to repair. After the nightmare of getting inside the SY85, this was just five screws , and the top opens like a laptop screen, neatly revealing most of the circuitry.

The mains lead had come away from the terminal, making it pretty obvious why it wouldn't power up. Then realised I had no soldering iron, so am ringing around mates at the moment trying to borrow one.

I'm The Bastard Son Of Roger Keith Barrett : Ricky And The Riffs

English rockers Ricky And The Riffs are the most successful popular music group of of the 20th Century.

Formed in 1957 and still going today, Ricky And The Riffs are still recording and touring today. They consist of singer Lord Ricky Robinson and drummer Sir Buffer Teddington. They are the only rock band in which all members have received such senior honours for their services to music.

The band have sold a staggering 1 billion albums during their career.

The Early Years
The founding members of the band , Ricky Robinson and organist Nugent Crossard met at Cambridge University Conservative Society. Crossard was on a Rhodes Scholarship from South Africa to study Ancient Music. They had listened to some of the American Rock&Roll bands, and soon recruited Buffer Teddington, a local lad who worked as a janitor for the club and played drums. His friend, another student studying composition was Michael Leverage, a virtuoso on the piano.
The troupe practised several numbers together and attracted the attention of a retired Coldstream Guardsman sergeant, impressed by the high class, etiquette and good looks of the boys. He believed they could offer a "moral" rock&roll alternative to the degenerate and subversive attitudes he thought were prevalent in the American rock&roll scene. He felt a guitar player would be needed, and found that Nugent's brother Bernard could indeed play and encouraged him to join.

The quintet soon found success. Unlike many rock'n'roll bands, organist Nugent Crossard played the basslines on the lower registers, as opposed to a dedicated bass guitarist. Ahead of their time, this gave the band a feel of what we today would call "funk". In 1959, their debut single, Rebel, charted at Number One both sides of the atlantic!

The release of their self titled album, "Ricky And The Riffs" saw the band find fame throughout the western world.

<img width='1' height='1' can of worms
but you make me feel so special
when you're by my side
i don't mind
that i'm taken for a ride

'cos i
i know you're telling lies
i see it in your eyes
but i don't want you to leave
so i guess i must believe

i stare
into the abyss<br All tracks written, produced and performed by Andy Wainwright. The album is a tribute to the late John Lennon and George Harrison. Best enjoyed out of your face!
If you ever wondered what Syd Barrett would be doing if he was still alive, this is the place to be.
Being a country boy, I caught the end of the punk era when the rest of the world had moved on from it. This is not what passes for punk music today, it is an original punk playing with drum boxes and synths, which is probably the direction the music would have gone had it stuck to the diy ethos.
There's a lot of soul/R&B and rap influences on this album, Running Out Of Soul, and Get Our Shit Together are two of only three attempts at rapping. Comes across like The Streets in some places,

There is a mix between pure pop and dance pop and lo-fi. Similar to what Carter USM and Sheep On Drugs were hinting at in the early 90's. Also included is a hefty chunk of 60's pyschedelia

Peckham Spastics Society

  Free music for professional licensing

This album contains the demented ramblings of Andy Pop covering the years 1995-2006. It is a mixture of punk, pop and anything weird. An alternative to alternative, the genre "alternative" now seems to represent bland corporate rock.
Musical influences included David Bowie, Blur, Spice Girls, Eternal, Bangles, Carter USM, Whigfield, Stock Aitken Waterman, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Elvis, Motown, Madness
Too Much To Bear and Girl On TV are performed by the "real" Kylie Minogue, i.e. not Mrs Redknapp meets Atkins and Peroxide. (just me and Katie's private joke lol :).... On a serious note, if you're into the eighties this is the place to be.
Lead singer Andy has been compared to Lennon and Bowie, however in this world of X-Factor etc that counts for bugger all. Plus he's not as talented, so maybe that's the reason for the frustration...Stuff rigged TV talent shows and tune into the real McCoy. Fuck MTV who completely fucked up what Sun Records did in the 1950s. OK Rant Over.....
The highlight of this album is Love Aint Big Enough For 3, which Andy wrote in 1998 with possible the Spice Girls or Boyzone in mind. It's about a real life love triangle, so while the bowie-esque vocals might not quite hit every note it's packed full of the emotion that only someone who could have experienced real heartache can deliver. What "Angels" could have been if at had been any cop:)

Andy Wainwright: Vocals, bass, keyboards, programming
Stephen Branch: Vocals, guitar, programing
Phil Lines: Drums
Additional vocals/instruments by Neville Dean and Katie Morton
All songs written and produced by Stephen Branch & Andy Wainwright

KEEP MUSIC ALIVE

The Dom Days EP

  Free music for professional licensing

This EP started life down a pub in my local town, where I met Dominic Higgins who was interesting in singing and writing songs. The story behind it relates to the problems faced by anyone stuck in some kind of loveless hole.
Dream Lover: Can't Mix Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Arctic Monkeys bastardised with riffs nicked off Steps.
Jannie's Song. A bit like Old Country Waltz (Neil Young?) and Annie's Song, hence the title. My first attempt at doing something in waltz time I think.
Sweet Liberty: About daring to be different and not wanting to be just another cog in the machine.

Add a heavy dose of The Divine Comedy and you have an EP which is a truly unique affair!
Recession. (A.K.A. Deck Of The Titanic) There's always this paranoia that the world is running out of oil, sub-Hitler psychos would take over and forces us all to march in rank and file. F**k it, If it's gonna happen it's gonna happen , if it's not , it's not. I wrote this as a "sequal" To Ghost Town by The Specials. Why Must The Youth Fight Against Themselves- Government Turning The Youth On Themselves.

Vocals on four tracks in the wonderful would of Dom's vaudeville.... The order of the nineteenth century saw European empires spanning the globe. After World War Two a new international order was defined by the high stakes of the superpower nuclear stand off. Both these world orders shaped by political weight and military power.
In 1989 the old world order dominated by the Cold War came to an end. But how quickly events have disproved those who celebrated the end of the Cold War as 'the end of history'. From Bosnia to Darfur, Rwanda to Afghanistan we have seen a level of disorder and uncertainty that no-one predicted. And no one foresaw the scale of the dramatic and seismic shifts in economy, culture and communications that are now truly global.
Our international institutions built for just 50 sheltered economies in what became a bipolar world are not fit for purpose in an interdependent world of 200 states where global flows of commerce, people and ideas defy borders. With such transformative change comes a clear obligation, but also a great opportunity, to write a new chapter -- to set down for a new era a better 21st century way of delivering peace and prosperity.

Of course the first duty of Government - our abiding obligation - is and will always be the safety of the British people, the protection of the British national interest. And let me affirm our commitment that we will always be vigilant and resolute, never leave ourselves vulnerable, but will at all times support and strengthen our armed forces, our defences and our security. Yet the timeless values that underpin our policies at home - our belief in the liberty of all, in security and justice for all, in economic opportunity andenvironmental protection shared by all - are also ideals that I believe that it is in our national interest to promote abroad. But we do so in a changing world where six new global forces unique to our generation are demonstrating our growing interdependence and pressing the international community to discover common purpose.
First, few expected when the adamantine certainties of the Cold War came to an end, we would have to address the constantly changing uncertainties of violence and instability from failed states and rogue states. The spread of terrorism has destroyed the old assumption that states alone could access destructive weapons. As dramatic in a different way is a third force for change: global flows of capital and global sourcing of goods and services have brought the biggest shift of economic power since the industrial revolution - the rapid emergence of India and China as global powers with legitimate global aspirations. The new frontier is that there is no frontier.
The unprecedented impact of climate change transforms the very purpose of government. Once quality of life meant the pursuit of two objectives: economic growth and social cohesion. Now there is a trinity of aims:prosperity, fairness and environmental care. And as energy supplies are under pressure there is a new global competition for natural resources. New global forces at work - from pandemics to worldwide migration - make the task of overcoming the great social evils of hunger, illiteracy, disease, squalor and poverty even more challenging. And if, as Tom Friedman has written, the defining image of the 20th centurywas a wall representing division, the defining image of the 21st is a web championing connections -- a world where we can rightly now talk not just of the wealth of nations but the wealth of networks. The web cannot be controlled in the end by any single force or any single leader. And what happens within it cannot be predicted from day to day.
George Orwell was not quite right: the technology revolution he foresaw is not a controlling force enslaving people, but for the most part a liberating force empowering them. In the old order power affected people but could not easily be affected by them. But once powerless people now have the potential to be heard andsee their impact felt in places far away. And because our world is now so connected and sointerdependent it is possible in this century, for the first time in human history, to contemplate and create a global society that empowers people.
Why do I believe this is not only possible but essential? Because we cannot any longer escape the consequences of our interdependence. The old distinction between 'over there' and 'over here' does not make sense of this interdependent world. For there is no longer an 'over there' of terrorism, failed states, poverty, forced migration and environmental degradation and an 'over here' that is insulated or immune.Today a nation's self interest today will be found not in isolation but in cooperation to overcome shared challenges. And so the underlying issue for our country - indeed for every country - is how together in this new interdependent world we renew and strengthen our international rules, institutions and networks.

My approach is hard-headed internationalism: - internationalist because global challenges need global solutions and nations must cooperate across borders - often with hard-headed intervention - to give expression to our shared interests and shared values; - hard-headed because we will not shirk from the difficult long term decisions and because only through reform of our international rules and institutions will we achieve concrete, on-the-ground results.
Building a global society means agreeing that the great interests we share in common are more powerful than the issues that sometimes divide us. It means articulating and acting upon the enduring values that define our common humanity and transcending ideologies of hatred that seek to drive us apart. And critically - and this is the main theme of my remarks this evening - we must bring to life these shared interests and shared values by practical proposals to create the architecture of a new global society.
Britain's alliances
Through our membership of the European Union - which gives us and 26 other countries the unique opportunity to work together on economic, environmental and security challenges - and the Commonwealth, and through our commitment to NATO and the UN, we have the capacity to work together with all those who share our vision of the future. And I do not see these as partnerships in competition with each other but mutually reinforcing.
It is no secret that I am a life long admirer of America. I have no truck with anti-Americanism in Britain or elsewhere in Europe and I believe that our ties with America - founded on values we share - constitute our most important bilateral relationship. And it is good for Britain, for Europe and for the wider world that today France and Germany and the European Union are building stronger relationships with America.
The 20th century showed that when Europe and America are distant from one another, instability is greater; when partners for progress the world is stronger. And in the years ahead - notwithstanding the huge shifts in economic influence underway - I believe that Europe and America have the best chance for many decades to achieve historic progress ----
·       working ever more closely together on the project of building a global society;
· and helping bring in all continents, including countries today outside the G8 and the UN Security Council, to give new purpose and direction to our international institutions.
And while no longer the mightiest militarily, or the largest economically, the United Kingdom has an important contribution to make. Just as London has become a global hub linking commerce, ideas and people from all over the world, so too our enduring values and our network of alliances, can help secure the changes we need.
A new framework for security and reconstruction
Today, there is still a gaping hole in our ability to address the illegitimate threats and use of force against innocent peoples. It is to the shame of the whole world that the international community failed to act to prevent genocide in Rwanda. We now rightly recognise our responsibility to protect behind borders where there are crimes against humanity.
But if we are to honour that responsibility to protect we urgently need a new framework to assist reconstruction. With the systematic use of earlier Security Council action, proper funding of peacekeepers, targeted sanctions - and their ratcheting up to include the real threat of international criminal court actions - we must now set in place the first internationally agreed procedures to prevent breakdowns of states and societies.
But where breakdowns occur, the UN - and regional bodies such as the EU and African Union - must now also agree to systematically combine traditional emergency aid and peacekeeping with stabilisation, reconstruction and development.
There are many steps the international community can assist with on the ladder from insecurity and conflict to stability and prosperity. So I propose that, in future, Security Council peacekeeping resolutions and UN Envoys should make stablisation, reconstruction and development an equal priority; that the international community should be ready to act with a standby civilian force including police and judiciary who can be deployed to rebuild civic societies; and that to repair damaged economies we sponsor local economic development agencies ---- in each area the international community able to offer a practical route map from failure to stability.
New initiatives in non-proliferation
And just as we will continue to be a leading nation in negotiating nuclear arms reductions, so we must be at the forefront of meeting the challenge of preventing nuclear weapons proliferation. And with more sophisticated after-the-fact detection of the source of nuclear materials there must be a determination to hold to account both active providers and potential users.
I propose internationally agreed access to an enrichment bond or nuclear fuel bank to help non-nuclear states acquire the new sources of energy they need. But this offer should be made only as long as these countries renounce nuclear weapons and meet internationally enforced non-proliferation standards.
The greatest immediate challenge to non-proliferation is Iran's nuclear ambitions, hidden from the world for many years in breach of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Iran has a choice - confrontation with the international community leading to a tightening of sanctions or, if it changes its approach and ends support for terrorism, a transformed relationship with the world.
Unless positive outcomes flow from Javier Solana's report and the IAEA, we will lead in seeking tougher sanctions both at the UN and in the European Union, including on oil and gas investment and the financial sector. Iran should be in no doubt about our seriousness of purpose.
Small arms kill every 90 seconds so as we call for an Arms Trade Treaty, Britain is willing to extend export laws to control extra-territorial brokering and trafficking of small arms, and potentially other weapons. And having led the way by taking two types of cluster munitions out of service, we want to work internationally for a ban on the use, production, transfer and stockpiling of those cluster munitions which cause unacceptable harm to civilians.
The renewal of the international institutions
To build not just security but environmental stewardship and prosperity free of global poverty, I want a G8 for the 21st century, a UN for the 21st century, and an IMF and World Bank fit for the 21st century.
And to achieve this I want to play my part in helping the European Union move away from its past preoccupation with inward looking institutional reform and I will work with others to propose a comprehensive agenda for a Global Europe - a Europe that is outward looking, open, internationalist, able to effectively respond both through internal reform and external action to the economic, security and environmental imperatives of globalisation.
I said my approach was hard headed because I am conscious of weaknesses in international institutions that need to be addressed, aware that while resolutions matter results matter even more, determined to judge success not by the number of initiatives in conference halls but by practical action for change, and resolute in my determination that we need fewer rather than more international bureaucracies. Indeed, we need a new network of change-makers - often non-governmental organisations - which deliver concrete action on the ground.
Long term but now also interim options must be examined to reform a UN Security Council - whose permanent members do not include Japan, India, Brazil, Germany, or any African country - to make the Council more representative, more credible and more effective.
The G8 has to increasingly broaden to encompass the influential emerging economies now outside but that account for more than a third of the world's economic output.
And we need a new coalition of democracies and civic societies joining together as allies for progress, with leaders in politics, economics and civil society all pushing forward reform.
International efforts against terrorism are not a short-term struggle where we get by through ad-hoc improvisation: this is a generational challenge. Global terrorist networks demand a global response. And if there are to be no safe havens for terrorists, and no hiding places for those financing and harbouring terrorism, we should work for a concerted global strengthening of law enforcement, financial supervision and policing and intelligence cooperation.
Financial disruption in one country can now affect all countries. The IMF should be transformed with a renewed mandate that goes far beyond crisis management to crisis prevention - not only responsible in the manner of an independent central bank for the independent surveillance of the world economy but becoming its early warning system.
As we move to a post 2012 global climate change agreement, we need a strengthened UN role for environmental protection.
And while we strengthen the World Bank's focus on poverty reduction, it must also become a bank for the environment. So as its new President Bob Zoellick has argued, it should recognise that the poorest countries are the most vulnerable to climate change - and help them to adapt and to finance low carbon economic growth.
Over the summer in places of turmoil as different as Darfur and Burma - where we will continue to pressure and persuade - the international community has shown how it can come together.
In Afghanistan we will work with the international community to match our military and security effort with new support for political reform and for economic and social development.
And today and together we call on President Musharraf of Pakistan to restore the constitution and implement the necessary conditions to guarantee free and fair elections on schedule in January; release all political prisoners, including members of the judiciary and human rights activists; to pursue energetically reconciliation with the political opposition; honour his commitment to step down as Chief of Army Staff; and relax restrictions on the media.
Nor will we shirk our obligations to the people and new democracy of Iraq and to the international community. As we move next month from our combat role to 'Overwatch' in Basra Province, we will support economic development to give the people of Basra a greater stake in the future.
And with the personal leadership of President Bush and the peace initiative involving all 22 states of the Arab League, there is potentially a window of opportunity to achieve - thanks to the political courage of Prime Minister Olmert and President Abbas - the creation of a viable Palestinian state alongside a secure Israel.
For this we need not only a road to Annapolis but a road from Annapolis: the December donors conference in Paris; Tony Blair's painstaking work for which I thank him; and Britain's economic road map for reconstruction in the West Bank and Gaza, in support of which the Foreign Secretary and the International Development Secretary will both shortly visit the region.
Whether in the Middle East or across the developing world, indifference to the plight of others is not only wrong, but not in our interests. That is why we continue to do all we can to reach a world trade agreement that will be of most benefit to the poorest.
But the global poverty emergency cannot be solved by one organisation or even a coalition of governments on their own: we now need the concerted efforts of private, public and third sectors working together ------ a new public-private alliance founded on promoting trade and growth.
The injustices people inflict on one another are not god-given but man-made and we have it in our power to become the first generation in history to deliver to every child the long overdue basic right to education. And today we also have the science and medicine to be the first generation to eradicate the preventable diseases of TB, polio, diptheria and malaria -- and eventually to cure HIV and AIDS.
And with a special UN meeting next year, it is my personal commitment to work with all people of goodwill to achieve these goals.
By history and conviction, we - Britain - are bearers of the indispensable idea of individual dignity and mutual respect. But we act to build a different, better world because we judge that it too is the best defence of our own future. We know that Britain cannot be a safe and prosperous island in a turbulent and divided world. A better world is our best security, our national interest best advanced by shared international endeavour.
So this is our message - to ourselves, our allies, potential adversaries and people who, no matter how distant, are now our neighbours: Our hard-headed internationalism means we will never retreat from our responsibilities. At all times justice in jeopardy, security at risk, suffering that cries out will command our concern.
From the early years of this young century we can already discern what Britain, the first multinational state, has always known: that success requires that people of different races, religions and backgrounds learn to live in harmony with each other.
We have already seen what our values have taught us: that progress depends upon openness, freedom, democracy and fairness. And we are finding that prosperity like peace is indivisible and to be sustained it has to be shared.
And we have learned too that without environmental sustainability, justice and prosperity are both imperilled and that the best route to long-term economic growth lies in action to tackle climate change.
These lessons are not an excuse to relax or rest or be complacent but a summons to act with utmost resolve. For the pressing challenge for Britain and for the international community is to harness these insights in a sustained endeavour to reform and renew our global rules, institutions and networks.
Upon this rests our shared future: a truly global society empowering people everywhere; not yet here, but in this century within our grasp.

All tracks written/produced by Andy Wainwright, except track 5, written and performed by Sherry The Cat

Baby P

  Free music for professional licensing

God Made Animals
Great And Small
Some That Slither
And Some That Crawl
And Social Services Employ Them All

This album is a tribute to the victims of the SS. No pun intended whatsoever.
Some may think this is in very poor taste. Just remember that it was the British tabloid media who took innocent pictures of naked toddlers by a professional artist and stuck "censored" stickers over their genitalia, thus adding a sexual dimension where non was intended whatsoever. If they are offended by this album, I'd be absolutely delighted..... FLM
As for the "Baby P" case, it is indeed tragic. But children througout history have been tortured, beaten and raped. Even royalty. However, the best social workers in the world are never gonna stop this stuff happening completely, short of a complete psychological understanding of child abuse which is some time away, and even then there's no absolute guarantee.
What these cases do mean is that more kids will be taken away from loving working class families who's only "crime" is poverty.... Newspapers want MORE state control in YOUR lives, and LESS restrictions on the super-rich club....

Forget psychedelic, this is psychotic pop at its f**king best. If you don’t like this album we recommend that you take more drugs till you do. Sleep depravation helps a bit too.

Once again the “bunch of spastics from Peckham” return with some ludicrous yet infectiously catchy music, libelous opinionated gossip and exceptionally poor taste. Some alternative mixes of previous music are included on this album.

Written, produced and performed by Andy Wainwright. Additional production and remix by Twiggy. Musicians: Andy, Twiggy, Nev, Stuart Mallinson, Tammy Hales, Katy Morton, Rachel Brown

Assisted Suicide Bomber

Went to my doctor
with a pain in my head
said I had a tumour
and that I’d soon be dead
well I just shrugged my shoulders
cos I didn’t give a s**t
I said “cut the c**p and give me
A diamorphine hit”

So I met a girl who sang the blues
Who’s now reduced to sniffing glues
Done so much crack she can hardly sing
And reckons Daddy was The King.
cos we’re stuck in Big Brother’s House
We smuggled in some Famous Grouse
I’ve got no dollars, not a dime
And now it’s medication time

So as I sit and smoke my bong
I sing this resignation song
Guess I ain’t happy and nor are you
Cos all my f**king dreams came true
I’d be the bootleg Mark Chapman
But I can’t even fire a cap gun
Should I take this axe and kill kill kill
Test the existence of free will

Cos they built this wall
Around the school
To protect
The Kids both big and small
But this idea was pretty rank
‘cos Thomas Hamilton didn’t have a f**king tank

Let’s faces the thoughts been in our heads
Of shooting little toddlers dead
Of genocide and incest too
Whist loaded up on special brew
We’ve all got our sour grapes
Dirty secrets, child rapes
And if you think this taste is poor
You tory c**ts believe in war
What if Madeline McCann
Came from Iraq or from Iran
No column inches and no fame
But like Shylock, she bleed the same

London, new york , gaza strip
Moneys kind and people s**t
Now as I’m sitting in this ward
No OBE or grammy award
In very frail mental health
Haloperidol’s made me p*ss myself
And just for a second I could actually see
There’s a lot more that a little bit of Elvis in me
Dave was very much into Eternal, Andy kinda liked Spice Girls, whilst Twiggy was more an All Saints kind of guy.... We never got around to flogging these tracks to any of the aforementioned bands on the grounds that we were a) too stoned b) too lazy and by the time we'd got round to demoing them all three of these acts had split up.
Sadly todays girlgroups are frankly not shit enough! For an all-singing, all dancing bunch of cutesy ladies to be anything remotely aproaching credible sort of defeats the object. Like low-calorie junkfood, sugar free Coke and decaffinated coffee. Whatever happened to "kak and proud"?

Here's two tracks - the first - Baby Don't Give Up , performed by Rachel, in various remixes. The second, Outta My Dreams is performed by Andy, and due to the tracks spicey origins the lyrics come over as being rather camp.

Baby Don't Give Up
Written by Andy Wainwright, David Nevard and Stephen Branch. Produced by Branch/Wainwright. Musicians: Rachel Brown, Andy Wainwright

Outta My Dreams
Written By Andy Wainwright & Stephen Branch. Andy they have an unexpected baby. But it's ever so tragic as the poor little baby can't see- but that's because of illegal pesticide but they she thinks it's her fault. Andy is prone to making up stories like this as Eastenders these days is unbarebly cardboard for Andy's silly taste

Andy has called the first track
I'm The Bastard Son Of Roger Keith Barrett
By the way he probably isn't. In fact probably definately isn't!
here's a little bit about Syd from Wiki
Syd Barrett (6 January 1946 – 7 July 2006), born Roger Keith Barrett, was an English singer, songwriter, guitarist and artist. He is most remembered as a founding member of psychedelic rock band Pink Floyd, providing major musical and stylistic direction in their early work, although he left the group in 1968 amidst speculations of mental illness exacerbated by heavy drug use.
He was active as a rock musician for about seven years, recording two albums with Pink Floyd and two solo albums before going into self-imposed seclusion lasting more than thirty years. His post-rock band life was as an artist and a keen gardener, ending with his death in 2006. During his withdrawal from public life there were numerous works about him, most notably his former band Pink Floyd's 1975 album Wish You Were Here. A number of biographies have been written about him since the 1980s.
Mel C Is One Of The Few Things That Rhyme With Chelsea
part of the DJ death "Chavsploitation" project. Take a look at the classic banality of this
Baby, Posh, Scarey , Mel C
Were the Spice Girls
We're Chelsea
They were famous for half an hour
We've got STAYING POWER
Love Is Against The Law (Appalling Inh Every Way Disco Mix)
This is what some policemen get up to stateside. But we had Harold Shipman here in Blighty - story from
Anyway: An Oklahoma sheriff has been charged with 35 felonies this week, including 14 counts of rape and the seven counts of oral sodomy. Mike Burgess had apparently been running a sex slave operation out of the female prison he was running. He is accused of raping inmates, forcing a drug court participant to have sex with him or face jail; and having inmates participate in a wet T-shirt contest and giving cigarettes to women who flashed their breasts.
He was also charged of one count of “rape by instrumentation.”
Rape by instrumentation? Oral sodomy? Dude, this guy was a sick fuck.
from blog:
http://www.quizlaw.com/blog/wtf_is_oral_sodomy.php
Commercial Radio Sound Effects Library
A collection of fart sounds and very silly noises. Like a car trying to start, and an airplane. Would go down well on a downmarket radio show or quiz.
Each One Is Numbered For Easy Reference
One of the noises Andy makes might be a Fell Diesel
"Fell" diesel-mechanical locomotive on display at Marylebone, 1951
Ricardo & Co. were consultants on this project.

The Love Asylum

  Free music for professional licensing

The Love Asylum were our 1990s outing as a mentalist pop group. Unfortunately music got all so terribly serious and nutters like us were spurned by the music industry. Still their loss, because take all the pervs , god botherers, druggies and psychos out of music and all that's left is James Blunt. Need we say more.
Essentially this album is Spice Girls without er - the Spice Girls doing their thing. Catchy tunes but the singing's a little dodgy. And we're (Ellie excepted) not as pretty. And we can't dance at all... There's even a track called "Sad Affair" (we think) which is about female on male domestic violence- sort of "boy power"
A lot of these recordings are rescude from cassette tape etc - Kev lost the DAT masters for quite a few and the multitracks were wiped due to the high cost of quality tape. The recordings were done on a budget of about five hundred quid for the lot and took about a year in total to do.
All Songs written by The Love Asylum
Kevin (Voice)
Dave (Voice / Keyboards)
Andy (Bass / Keyboards)
Pete (Guitar)
Twiggy (Guitar)
Ellie (Drums)
Romance blossomed in the studio, and Ellie and Dave later married and had a daughter, Leah.... The band stopped performing live after a love triangle developed- Ellie was Kev's first!!!
All tracks produced by Stephen Branch & Andy Wainwright for Stellar Art Wars Productions
Also included are some LA covers done by Twigg & AndyPop's punk band GUTT (later Dog Salad)
Sean (vocals) Twiggy (guitar) Andy (Bass) Phil (drums)
some additional contributions from Fat Nev , Tammy Hales, Angie Rutter and Tracey Coyne
please support Andy's facebook campaign to make Lisa L'Anson (the LF from KLF - we think the name is derived from Kingdom Of Lisa Finlayson) head of the BBC. Either her or Jim Cauty.... Or Bill Drummond. Even Youth..

The album cover shows a shot of Walton Pier - created by the Simon Cowell of the Pier world, victorian entrepreneur Peter Bruff. Peter Bruff is also the name of Clacton's famed detoxification unit , the Peter Bruff Mental Health Clinic ... AKA The Love Asylum

A self fulfilling prophecy as Andy ended up there after a few lines too many...
We'd love to hear any covers of these songs (we give permission for non-profit or genuine charity use including free internet upload and live performance- commerical license available by request - permission / royalty required)
Recorded using Absolut Vodka and Stella Artois Larger. It's a pun on Stella Artois Lager (coloquial name is "Wife Beater") . Resultantly it's something you might find outside a pub in Harwich at closing time. Our usual singer Walter Blacker has the initials W.B. - Wife Beater (walt's not in domestic violence himself but it's one of the weird coincidences that make our act so much fun. SAW also stands for Stock Aitken Waterman , and SAW for saw partner - the man or woman at the other end of a log saw , one to push, one to pull - i.e. soul mates. It also means all out war waged by everyone against everyone : Absolute Xenomania We are the armageddon of the music industry...
"This Used To Be A fun House , But Now It's Ful Of Evil Clowns"
(and by the way, this one is Pink!!!)
Absolute and Xenomania bring to mind Spice Girls & Girls Aloud. Spice Girls Aloud!!! These tracks all feature female lead vocalists and hopefully combine the best aspects of all. Punky, Sexy and Cute fun..
You're A Temptation (written and performed by Lauren Ross) What a great name. Lauryn Hill meets Diana Ross
Disappointed (written / performed by ASBO and features Andy's long lost sis Katherine E on vocals)
Don't Go (written by Twiggy and sung by Katy M - Mrs Andy Pop ) It's a really sad song written by Twiggy about a real relationship breakup and the lady in question was touched so much she cried... (happily whilst no longer a couple Twiggy and Judy are still good friends, and their daughter Ria now has a family of her own)
To commemorate SAW's new member Lauren Ross , we've included her acoustic demo , along with her naked voice and the karaoke backing track to go with it.
Let's bring back the fun of Bananarama and X-Ray Spex - girls with loadsa attitude but f**k all fashion (a word I always find worryingly similar to fascism) sense- well andy has none either. Executive producer Kathy Wainwright. Except "Insomnia" written by Wainwright/Flack
Some of this material is Public Domain and the multitracks are available from our Free License website.
The Lakes is named after local reservoirs Ardleigh, Gosfield and Abberton, with a ward for each. People rescued after trying to drown themselves are picked up by the rozzers and brought in to this place. Ardleigh ward is for citizens of Planet Zog Quintorium IV. Gosfield is for reprogramming alien clones with rubbish primetime TV. And Abberton is for fun, like cooking, pottery , relaxation and music therapy (where we take it in turns to choose a CD and describe what it means to us) .
When you are no longer believing you are God or seeing not as many space aliens and clones, then your property is shifted into the sluice room and you're given "home leave" and if that is successful , you are discharged. It works on a basis of lunatic in , lunatic out , so as long as you are over about 14% sane , and not physically attacking anyone or smoking crack or something , bed pressure should ensure your eventual leaving...
Andy and Katie met in Abberton ward.
This album is dedicated to Lesley, Shane and Michelle , and the doctors, nurses , patients and aliens who live in The Lakes mental health centre in Colchester , Essex.
"Freedom is a path seldom trodden by the multitudes"
